Pascale Berthet holds a master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Grenoble in France. After the master’s degree, she additionally earned a Diploma in Biotechnology Sales (Bio-Tech-CO) in 1995, which launched her professional journey as a Sales Representative for Promega.

Four years later, she joined Life Technologies, where she progressed from Sales Representative to Key Account Manager for Cellular Biology & Functional Proteomic, managing major academic and industry accounts. After five years, she moved to Sartorius as a Key Account Manager, leading business development for a portfolio that included robotic cell culture instruments and sample management storage systems.   Since then, Pascale has served as a business-development specialist and senior consultant for several leading organisations- Cytiva, FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Perkin Eler, and Tree Frog Therapeutics, etc.

With more than 20 years of experience across Europe, the US and Asia, she has designed market-entry strategies, closed high-value deals with pharma and biotech leaders, and supported the launch of breakthrough solutions in cell and gene therapy, nanomedicine, and advanced biomanufacturing. By blending strategic in insight with hands-on execution, she unlocks growth opportunities for innovative companies.

Bringing a breakthrough therapy or device from the lab to the pharmacy shelf is a complex journey. This seminar will provide a practical roadmap for navigating regulations and forging the right partnerships to accelerate market entry.

Join us for this engaging opportunity to learn how to translate your research results into viable business ventures and prepare them for successful market access.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required to best organize the event according to the number of participants. Please register at startup@pasteur.fr

The “Startup Breakfast”, a monthly seminar, held at the Institut Pasteur, is designed to introduce you to the various aspects of creating and developing life science companies, and the associated challenges.

Eight sessions will be organized throughout the academic year 2025-2026 on a specific theme presented by an external expert. These friendly, informal meetings will enable you to interact easily with the speaker. They will be followed by a “networking” where you will be able to exchange ideas amongst yourselves and with startup alumni who will be able to share their experience.
