reConnect Institute at the Impulse event on November 12
On November 12, the reConnect Institute was pleased to take part in the Impulse event, a dedicated day focused on industry partnerships and promoting health innovation in the Greater Paris Region.
The event, the first of its kind, was organized by the Greater Paris regional council in partnership with Medicen Paris Region. It attracted nearly 490 participants, including company representatives, the bioclusters GenoTher, Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC) and Brain&Mind, and the ten university hospital institutes (IHUs) in the region: the Leukemia Institute, the Institute of Women's Cancers, PRISM, the Brain Institute, the Robert Debré Child Brain Institute, IHU SEPSIS – Comprehensive Sepsis Center, the Imagine Institute, IHU ICAN, IHU FOReSIGHT for Vision and the reConnect Institute.
Yasmine Belkaid, President of the Institut Pasteur, and Nicolas Le Goff, Director of Innovation at the reConnect Institute, were at the event to speak to a wide range of company representatives and share their views on the challenges and importance of an innovation ecosystem in the field of health.
The President of the Greater Paris regional council, Valérie Pécresse, also attended the event and emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between IHUs as drivers of future innovation and to encourage the development of public-private partnerships.
