Get back on your bike and keep pedaling in 2026
From January 5 to 30, the CSR Department would like to invite you to take part in its annual survey "Cyclists and future cyclists: tell us what you need!"
We need you to take part in this survey to help us establish the priorities for the 2026 Cycling Action Plan led by the CSR Department.
The survey conducted at the end of 2024 (in French) was completed by 155 people and served as a springboard for the many services, training sessions and awareness/prevention initiatives to promote cycling held throughout 2025.
The CSR Department is counting on you to help develop the 2026 Cycling Action Plan. .
Aims for 2026
- Implement services, training and support to encourage staff to use their bike for commuting and business travel
- Develop a cycling culture at the Institut Pasteur
- Show that cycling is a key driver in our CSR strategy: opting to cycle makes a major contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and helps improve mental and physical health for staff
- Prevent risks for cyclists: a bike safety kit (containing a hi-vis jacket and armband and two USB rechargeable lights) is now available on request (contact: nathalie.duval@pasteur.fr)
The key to prevention is regular bike maintenance:
- Repair and maintain your bike yourself
- With supervision from experts
- And specialized equipment
- For less cost
- On campus
- All year round
Come along to the workshop run by the CSE cycling section (contacts: sectionvelo@pasteur.fr; section CSE vélo).
For more information, see the dedicated ePasteur pages on sustainable mobility and cycling.
The survey closes on January 30, 2026, at 6 pm.
