Upcoming remote training with the CeRIS

  • Remote training: "Participate in Open Access: Political Requirements and Submitting Articles to HAL-Pasteur," Tuesday April 13, 2021 from 10am to 12.30pm (in French)

In its Strategic Plan, the Institut Pasteur supports open science, with the target of making all of its publications open access from 2021. This policy is in line with the demands of major research programs and the French National Plan for Open Science. Starting this year, the COMESP now includes the submission of publications to the HAL-PASTEUR open archive in its appraisal policy.

Find out more – from the implications of these policies to practical tips on submitting your articles – in a training session run by the CeRIS.

Aims of the training:
•    Understand the international open access movement and the role of open archives
•    Find out about the open access policies of funding bodies and the policies pursued by France and the Institut Pasteur
•    Learn how to submit your articles to the HAL-Pasteur open archive
•    Manage your digital identity as a scientist in HAL with your IdHAL

This training session is open to everyone.

It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in French.

  • Remote training: Advanced EndNote, level 2, Thursday April 15, 2021 from 2 to 5pm (in English)

Find out about the more advanced features of EndNote X9 and learn some handy tips and tricks.

Combining theory and practice, this training session will teach you how to boost your library with references that are not available in traditional databases, manage your library more efficiently and import references into a document (e.g. changing a style).

Aim of the training: to develop advanced skills in using the software

This training is aimed at anyone who already uses EndNote and wants to further develop their command of the software.

It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in English.
