Agenda

Follow the 2021 edition of the Young Researchers in Life Sciences Conference online

Because of the current health context, the 12th edition of the Young Researchers in Life Sciences Conference will be held online this year. It will take place from June 16 to 18. Each year, this international conference is organized by the associations for young researchers at several leading research institutes in the Greater Paris region. This latest edition, the first to be held in a virtual format, has been organized by no fewer than eight institutes, including StaPa, the Institut Pasteur's association for young researchers, which has taken an active role in the event since it was first launched.

Each year the conference is attended by more than 200 participants from over ten different countries. It is a great opportunity for young researchers (Advanced Master's and PhD students and post-doctoral fellows) to showcase their research through oral presentations in an interdisciplinary, international context and among their peers. The three-day event will also give the researchers the chance to widen their scientific and professional network and to find out more about potential career opportunities.

This year, the program will involve three broad themes, covering multiple research fields in life sciences:

  • June 16: Microbes and Host responses

  • June 17: From Cells to Organisms

  • June 18: Science at the Interface

Several renowned speakers will be participating in the various sessions: Dr. Yasmine Belkaid, NIAID, NIH, USA; Dr. Lucas Schirmer, University of Heidelberg, Germany; and Professor James Collins, MIT, Cambridge, USA.
Registration for the 12th edition is now open.
