Agenda

Second part of the third edition of the conference on "Scientists, physicians and research participants"

Did you know that several healthy volunteers and patients give biological samples and share their health data for the Institut Pasteur's scientists?

The ICAReB (Clinical Investigation and Access to BioResources) platform has the job of recruiting these volunteers, taking samples and gathering the health data required to add to collections that are maintained in full compliance with applicable regulations. These bioresources are then made available for the scientific community.
This second part of the conference on "Scientists, physicians and research participants" will include two non-specialist presentations on the history of clinical research and the historical approach of the Institut Pasteur's collections and platforms. The third part will present the future Institut Pasteur Volunteers' Committee (COVOL) to be set up in autumn 2021.

The event will take place on Wednesday June 30, 2021, from 10am to 1pm, via Teams.

During the half-day conference, volunteers involved in research will be given a say in the creation of COVOL, the committee that will represent them at the Institut Pasteur and especially within the Institut Pasteur's Ethics Committee.

We would encourage you to sign up for the event and to take the opportunity to talk to research participants about the creation of the COVOL committee, due to begin meeting in September.

The event is free but prior registration is required.
