Ebola in west Africa: the role of the Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network

With more than 28,000 cases and 11,000 deaths, the devastating 2013-2016 Ebola outbreak in west Africa challenged the worlds capacity to work together to respond to one of the worst public health crisis in recent history. Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network responded immediately and mobilized hundreds of staff across the network for field actions, training, research, etc.  Now, more than 9 months since the PHEIC (Public Health Emergency of International Concern) was lifted, we reflect on the work of IP/IPIN.

Please join us on 10 January 2017 from 14:00-19:00 for presentations and discussions by Pasteur’s Ebola Task Force.  During this afternoon, we will share the work conducted by Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network during and after the outbreak.
