Upcoming session of the Workshops at the Center for Translational Science on January 31

The Workshops at the Center for Translational Science will be continuing throughout 2017. The aim of these bimonthly two-hour events is to inform professionals involved in clinical and translational research of emerging issues, developments and best practices in this field.

Since 2016, each session has been followed by a round table featuring a number of other guests in addition to the main speaker, who are invited to share their experiences on the topic under discussion.

The next session will take place on January 31 from 9.30 to 11.30am in the François Jacob lecture hall. The speaker (in English) will be Louiza Kalokairinou, Ethics and Research Integrity Sector of the European Commission, who will look at the topic "European Commission expectations regarding the management of Ethics in granted biomedical research".
