Save the date!

This year, Pasteurdon is celebrating its 15th anniversary!

To get this special edition off to a memorable start, you are all invited to come along to the launch event, which will be held in the CIS auditorium on October 6.

Given the ongoing health situation, the launch event will be open remotely, to give everyone on campus the opportunity to enjoy this anniversary Pasteurdon. We will send the link for the event in the next newsletter.

Make sure you don't miss the launch on October 6!

A vibrant, colorful Pasteurdon!

Year after year, campaign after campaign, Pasteurdon has grown and developed, always maintaining its focus on research challenges and health issues and increasingly reaching out to the public.

After 15 years, Pasteurdon continues to draw on the energy and efforts of the entire Institut Pasteur community. It is this collective strength that makes it so successful and enables us to bring more and more people and partners on board each year. And this shared commitment to the cause is what helps raise awareness about the health challenges being tackled by the research carried out in the Institut Pasteur's laboratories.

Despite the continuing complexities of the health situation, Pasteurdon is stepping up its efforts in a bid to give even more visibility to the work of the Institut Pasteur and the multiple research areas that define its identity.

This year, Pasteurdon will proudly parade the colors of research to shine new light on six major fields of scientific research that are central to the Institut Pasteur's Strategic Plan: emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, brain connectivity and neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, vaccinology, and advanced technology and artificial intelligence.

Each of these six research fields will be allocated a different color: yellow, green, blue, pink, purple and red.

These "color codes" will create a symbolic palette that can be used by Pasteurians and the public alike to display their commitment to overcoming disease and their support for research, especially via social media.

A special 15th anniversary logo created to echo this rainbow of colors will be displayed on campus in the run-up to the event.

Make sure you don't miss the 15th anniversary edition of Pasteurdon – together, let's proudly carry the colors of research.

We hope that as many as possible will attend online the launch event on October 6!
