Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The Major Federating Program (GPF) on Vaccinology is one of three large-scale transversal research projects launched by the Institut Pasteur.
Vaccinology has a strong tradition at Institut Pasteur and is a strategic topic for the institute as vaccines play a crucial role in global health. To address challenges in infectious diseases that are still a major cause of death as well as in chronic diseases and cancer, the GPF Vaccinology is anchored in the Institut Pasteur’s core mission to carry out fundamental cutting-edge research with the aim to improve public health throughout the world in combination with the development of industrial partnerships to bring the results of the research to the people in need.
The GPF Vaccinology project leaders are pleased to announce that a 2017 GPF Vaccinology day will take place on June 30, 2017.
The aim of the event is to allow more direct interaction between the program and the campus and to discuss the status of each project and the scientific and clinical implications. In the morning, the GPF Vaccinology-funded projects will be presented to the campus. These presentations will take place at the François Jacob auditorium from 8:45am to 12:30pm.
The second part of the day will consist of closed discussions between each group and the Steering Committee with the aim of providing a confidential environment for discussing ongoing activities.
