Meeting on June 19, 2017

The members of the Institut Pasteur General Meeting board met on Monday June 19.

During the meeting, the members approved the minutes of the General Meeting of October 18, 2016.

The members also approved, by a show of hands (92 votes in favor and 2 abstentions), the Annual Report and accounts for 2016 as submitted by the Board of Directors to the General Meeting board.

At this meeting on June 19, 2017, the members also voted to replace a member of the Board of Directors, in the category of members chosen for their scientific expertise, on the basis of a "double nominee" proposal from the Scientific Council (art. 3Ba of the articles of association).

Felix Rey was elected to replace the resigning member Gisou Van der Goot. His term will run until 2022.

Session chairman Christian Vigouroux and all those in attendance warmly applauded Christian Bréchot following his presentation of the main achievements for 2016, welcoming the results obtained and paying tribute to his commitment to serving the Institut Pasteur throughout his term as President.
