Creation of the Physics of Biological Functions Unit and extension of Yersinia Unit
- Creation of the Physics of Biological Functions Unit
Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in October 2015, the Physics of Biological Functions (Physique des fonctions biologiques) Unit was set up on September 1, 2017.
This unit, part of the Department of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, will be directed by Thomas Gregor.
The unit will be set up for a first five-year term which will run through to August 31, 2022.

- Extension of Yersinia Unit
Following the professional mobility of Mrs Elisabeth Carniel to the Pasteur Center in Cameroon, the Yersinia Unit, which she headed, has been extended and placed under the interim management of Mr Javier Pizarro-Cerdá, Director of Research at the Institut Pasteur, from 1 September 2017, for a period of one year, which may be renewed.
