Sanofi IDEA-TECH Awards Europe – Call for Pre-Proposals 2023-2024

This Sanofi IDEA-TECH Award is a prestigious prize whose aim is to transform disruptive ideas and technologies from start-ups and key academic institutions into concrete solutions to accelerate the discovery and development of new medicines.

The Sanofi IDEA-TECH Awards aim to identify and help develop new approaches and translational technologies, in order to significantly improve the R&D process and the discovery, development and optimization of treatments in Sanofi's priority areas.

The Sanofi IDEA-TECH award is open to researchers, regardless of their affiliation, nationality, or experience. The award aims to promote excellence, innovation, and impact in research.

The Sanofi IDEA-TECH award is designed to fund projects for a period of 12 months with a budget of 120 k€, to have a dedicated Sanofi scientific expert assigned to the project and gain privileged access to developing an extended collaboration at the end.

Do you have an innovative idea that can improve access to healthcare and support the patients? The deadline for submission of your 2-page-pre-proposal is December 15th, 2023 (template provided).

To apply for the award, you need to submit a proposal that demonstrates originality, rigor, relevance, and significance in the chosen field(s). To ensure that pre-proposals are compliant, we kindly ask you to validate them with DARRI before submitting them yourself using the dedicated application platform. The pre-proposal should address one or several of the priority areas of interests described below. The pre-proposal will be evaluated by a panel of experts, who will select the candidate for the detailed proposals, 8 to 10 pages with the submission deadline of March 13th, 2024.
