11th edition of Pasteurdon gets under way!

The wait is over – Pasteurdon 2017 has officially begun!

Several of you came along on Wednesday to the launch event for the 11th Pasteurdon to find out what's new for the 2017 edition of the annual Institut Pasteur campaign to raise awareness and funds.

On the Institut Pasteur's Paris campus – temporarily transformed into a movie theater! – you got to see an exclusive preview of the new appeal films, masterminded by the unique creative genius of renowned film-maker Claude Lelouch and lit up by the sparkling presence of loyal patron Alexandra Lamy.

At the event on October 11, attended by Christian Vigouroux, Chairman of the Institut Pasteur Board of Directors, and Jean-François Chambon, Vice-President Communications and Fundraising, all eyes were fixed on Claude Lelouch and his crew, together with Alexandra Lamy, leading presenters and directors of TV channels and radio stations, and directors and representatives from partner companies. All came along to show their commitment and dedication to a fundraising campaign that attracts increasing numbers of supporters each year.

The audience was treated to the short and long versions of the appeal films, the special launch clip, radio spots and the inevitable "making of" film – which generated more than a few laughs!

After the curtain had come down, the audience had the opportunity to see what went on behind the scenes of the film shoot via a photo exhibition – and to step in front of the camera themselves with the Harcourt photo booth set up in the CIS hall. The glamorous snapshots were immediately pinned to the walls, adding an extra layer of Pasteurian charm to the event!

The ceremony was followed by an enjoyable drinks reception.
