Reminder of two upcoming scientific events: ATC-ALM symposium and Labex IBEID congress

•    Symposium ATC-ALM “Quantitative microscopy”, October 18, 2024

The Optics Developers at Institut Pasteur, in the framework of the Advanced Light Microscopy initiative ATC, are organizing at François Jacob auditorium on October 18 a technical symposium involving several microscopy techniques either emerging or insufficiently known. The focus of this year’s symposium will be quantitative microscopy with contributions ranging from methodologies to innovative microscopy techniques.

The contributions will focus on the technical aspects and critical points of quantitative microscopy techniques, opening stimulating exchanges with system-building scientists interested in reproducing and/or pushing the techniques as well as with Life Science researchers looking for new insights on the current available possibilities.

Over the past fifteen years, Labex IBEID has been at the forefront of research and innovation to better understand emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and related topics, from pathogen diagnostics and host defense mechanisms, to innovative treatments, in order to anticipate and effectively combat current and future infectious diseases.

This congress is both a platform for sharing knowledge and a celebration of the collective achievements that have shaped Labex IBEID. Over the course of three days, you'll discover a rich program of stimulating presentations and discussions, and numerous networking opportunities. The collaborations and ideas that emerge from this meeting will pave the way for the next fifteen years of scientific discoveries.

The Labex IBEID contribute to support participation of young scientists to this event through the IBEID Travel Grant scheme.
