Interview with Institut Pasteur President Yasmine Belkaid: "Everyone has a role to play in the protection and advancement of our institute"

As we enter the second quarter, President Yasmine Belkaid has outlined the key challenges facing us in the months ahead. She presented the implementing method for the scientific priorities and major projects that shape the new "Pasteur 2030" Strategic Plan. She reviewed the topics of concern on campus, in particular financial prospects, the place of science in budget choices, support measures for staff in light of the rising cost of living and the situation of students. Against the backdrop of our troubled international climate, Yasmine Belkaid reaffirmed and clarified what she considers to be our duty in taking a stand against attacks on research, science and their founding principles. She lastly shared upcoming events and activities for the Institut Pasteur community in the coming weeks and months.
