The Information Systems Department and the Grants Office within the Department of Development are delighted to announce the launch of the Grant Manager (GM) application at the Institut Pasteur. This new software for submitting and tracking applications for external funding will replace the previous funding request management tool (BPM).

Grant Manager covers all the stages in the process of responding to calls for proposals (from the initial application to the award of funding). It facilitates coordination between all those involved in preparing grant applications (scientists and administrative staff) so that they can optimize their chances of success in highly competitive calls for proposals.

Since January 10, 2018, several scientists have been using GM for a pilot phase designed to test and improve the new tool via continuous online feedback.

All staff are invited to find out more about the features offered by this new application at the presentation sessions being held in the François Jacob auditorium. The next session will be held on Wednesday February 14, 2018, from 2 to 3pm.

Make sure you select a representative from your unit to attend one of the two sessions. Grant Manager can also be used by unit managers to delegate the task of creating and amending funding applications to any of the staff members in their units.

Since February 7, 2018, all applications for external funding via calls for proposals have been managed in the GM application, which can be accessed through the Service Portal (mettre un lien web pour accéder directement au portail de service). The previous application (BPM) will continue to be available via GM but only to consult and manage existing applications.
