Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
€1,205,163 in pledges: this was the amount displayed on the Pasteurdon counter at noon on Monday October 12 after four days of intense fundraising.
The figure for the 9th edition of the Institut Pasteur’s annual fundraising campaign was up on last year.
With the support of 20 digital TV and 10 radio channels this year, the campaign enjoyed ever greater popularity thanks to major media exposure, both in terms of the amount and quality of content broadcast to the public!
Pasteurdon 2015 also enjoyed the unrelenting and massive support of the Institut Pasteur staff themselves.
By taking part in the new programs broadcast throughout the weekend of October 9 to 11, coming along to show your fighting spirit and will to combat viruses on camera on October 6 and 7, expressing your enthusiasm and support during the October 7 launch, or else taking to the Paris streets in the road race on October 11, you all contributed to the success of this year’s edition.
You also reinforced internal team spirit in an operation that promotes ever greater public and media outreach to build awareness of the Institut Pasteur’s many research activities, of health issues related to this research, and of the need for donations.
Thank you!

On October 11, no fewer than 70 Institut Pasteur staff members took to the streets of Paris for the prestigious "20km de Paris" road race.
United in their commitment and wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the 2015 campaign logo, the runners showed their fighting spirit throughout the course and at the dedicated Institut Pasteur stand. And because this is a collective fight, Christian Bréchot also ran the race to support the cause and boost the group's energy.
In sum: a unique experience shared by all involved and in which the values of both sport and research were upheld and fine sporting performance was achieved! Congratulations to all of you!
