PASTEUR2030

"Joining Forces: The EMBL-Pasteur Initiative" seminar on June 4

Stengthening Institut Pasteur’s european partnerships, which can be a source of multiple scientific opportunities as well as new funding, is one of the key priorities of the Pasteur 2030 strategic plan.
In this spirit, Institut Pasteur recently joined the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) inititiative, designed to encourage interdisciplinary research in infection biology across Europe through an ambitious partnership between first-class european research institutes. As part of this initiative, five research projects involving Institut Pasteur have been selected in the first call for projects for the “Amplifying Funds in Infection Biology” program coordinated by EMBL (see the newsletter from March 21, 2025).

The Institut Pasteur would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the “Joining Forces: The EMBL-Pasteur Initiative” seminar on June 4, during which the five selected projects will be presented. This event will take place in the Agnes Ullmann lecture hall from 12 noon to 2 pm and will be introduced by Yasmine Belkaid.

This seminar will also be an opportunity to present the achievements of the past year and the future prospects of the initiative between EMBL and the Institut Pasteur, and to find out about the second call for projects for the “Amplifying Funds in Infection Biology” scheme launched in June 2025.
