FreezeClean: attend the information meeting on June 2

The Institut Pasteur has launched the FreezeClean project to optimize management of its -80°C freezers, reduce its carbon footprint and improve the efficiency of its laboratories. This is a strategic challenge for the Institute, as General Manager Yasmine Belkaid explains: “We now need to sort through our freezers before we can buy a new one”. An information meeting and question and answer session will be held on June 2 to encourage everyone to sort their samples.

Sign up for the meeting on Monday June 2, 2025 from 3 to 3.45pm

The Institut Pasteur's freezers are expensive to maintain and pollution intensive, so it is important for scientists to sort the samples kept in them on a regular basis. A series of resources are available on ePasteur to help you with this process.
