Creation of the Evolutionary Bioinformatics Unit

Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in December 2014, the Evolutionary Bioinformatics (Bioinformatique évolutive) Unit was set up on November 1, 2015.

This unit within the Center of Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Integrative Biology (C3BI) is part of the Department of Genomes and Genetics and is directed by Olivier Gascuel, a Research Director at the CNRS.

The unit will be set up for a first 5-year term which will run through to October 31, 2020.
