Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The first edition of a welcome module entitled "Accessing scientific resources", geared towards scientists who have recently arrived at the Institut Pasteur, took place on November 6.
During the first session of the integration module
This session was organized by the transversal research centers and the science media library, with the support of the Research Contracts and Patents and Inventions Departments.
The aim of the workshop was to present the various support services available for scientists on campus and to introduce the newcomers to some of the resources on offer. It involved a simulation exercise in which participants were asked to develop a research project from the initial research stage to the publication of results.
The module was also designed to raise awareness of open access and ethics among the newcomers, in line with ongoing efforts to promote responsible research and innovation (RRI) – a concept defined by the European Union and developed at the Institut Pasteur.
The next session will take place on December 15.
This module is one of the welcome initiatives introduced by the Institut Pasteur to help new staff members settle in to their new working environment.
