Pasteurdon

A look back on the 2018 "20km de Paris": they attacked the course!

On October 14, during Pasteurdon weekend, the 58 energetic and enthusiastic members of the Institut Pasteur team took to the streets of the French capital to show their support in the 40th edition of the prestigious "20km de Paris" road race. These keen runners, who can usually be found in the Institut Pasteur's laboratories and support units, generously gave up their Sunday for the cause.

United in their commitment and wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the 2018 campaign logo, "Defending research together", the enthusiastic participants demonstrated their commitment throughout the course and at the dedicated Institut Pasteur stand.

It was a great show of team spirit and razor-sharp determination!

They all demonstrated an unflinching desire to "attack" the tarmac!

This event represented a unique opportunity to uphold and promote the values of sport and research.

It also resulted in some outstanding performances from the Institut Pasteur team – the first Pasteurian to complete the course, a talented female runner, posted a highly impressive time of 1 hour 16 minutes!

Huge congratulations to all those who took part!

The ongoing combat to "support researchers and defend research" became a battle with the clock over 20km on the streets of Paris on Sunday.

We hope to see you again next year – keen runners and team players are all welcome!
