The mandatory annual negotiations for 2016 between the Institut Pasteur management and the unions have recently come to a close, resulting in the signing of a memorandum of understanding with two trade unions. This agreement includes the following measures:
a general wage-increase measure in the form of extra index points (equivalent to 1%) for employees whose salary is lower than 1.6 times the minimum wage;
a budget of 1.8% of the indexed wage bill set aside for individual pay rises, promotions, seniority bonuses and minimum career progress increments; 0.2% of this 1.8% is specifically reserved for seniority bonuses and minimum career progress increments for the year 2016;
the creation of a €1,500 (gross) yearly bonus for the head of a platform, group, collection or laboratory.
