Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The fourth edition of the "Roulons Solidaires" campaign, now a firm fixture in the cycling calendar, came to a close on February 1 during the press conference held to present the AG2R La Mondiale cycling team for 2016. At this event, attended by French State Secretary for Sport Thierry Braillard, André Renaudin, President of AG2R La Mondiale, presented a cheque for €40,000.
All the representatives of this successful fundraising campaign were delighted at the growing enthusiasm among the general public for Roulons Solidaires, and they expressed their heartfelt thanks to those who helped clock up the kilometers during the Tour de France or via the "Vivons Vélo" application.
For the past four years, this unique campaign has been a major event on the Institut Pasteur campus and has seen staff members generously donate their time and energy over a three-week period. Last summer, more than 90 of you took part in the appeal, some pedaling away furiously to clock up 20, 40 or even an impressive 50km. A total of 1151km was covered at the Institut Pasteur throughout the three weeks of the campaign, which included a series of individual and team challenges. The ten best participants will shortly be receiving a prize for their performances.
The counter has now been reset to zero for this new season. You can already get pedaling by logging into the "Vivons Vélo" application. Later on this year we'll be giving you more details about the 2016 campus appeal.
