Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Central African Republic is one of the countries most severely affected by tuberculosis in the world, with an incidence of 423 cases per 100,000 population. The country is also grappling with the emergence of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. In 2015, the Institut Pasteur de Bangui began monitoring rifampicin resistance using the GeneXpert MTB/RIF technique. It has recently published a first three-year review presenting the results of this surveillance.
