Launch of Icypro, the advanced bioimage analysis platform
In February, the Icypro project spearheaded by the Institut Pasteur was identified and recognized by the Greater Paris region and the French government for its potential to make a significant contribution to the development of technological expertise in the Greater Paris region in a way that will benefit SMEs, while fostering partnerships between laboratories and industry with the aim of strengthening the region's economic dynamism and its role as a driver of innovation (see the February 8, 2019 edition of the newsletter).
The aim of Icypro is to share the expertise and advanced bioimage analysis solutions developed at the Institut Pasteur with fields where they will have a real impact for patients, in diagnostics/medtech or to speed up the discovery of new drugs. On May 21, 2019, all the Icypro project partners and funders gathered at the Institut Pasteur for the official project launch.
