Jean-Marc Ghigo elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology

The American Academy of Microbiology currently has more than 2,400 Fellows who are elected annually. They include scientists engaged in basic research, applied microbiology, education, industry or public health.

This year 78 new Fellows were elected, including the Head of the Genetics of Biofilms Unit, Jean-Marc Ghigo. This honor is an acknowledgement of the originality of his work and its contribution to the advancement of the field of microbiology.
