Stem cell research is often in the medical news but also raises a number of issues particularly regarding the source of the cells used. All the media hype aside, what is the therapeutic potential of stem cells? What are the advantages and limits to using these different types of stem cells in various applications? And what about patients’ freedom of access to stem cell therapy?
All these themes will be addressed at the conference and debate Stem Cells: Myths and Reality, held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 6 to 8pm in the François Jacob auditorium.
