COVID-19: new campus access

The general instructions in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic are to work remotely (telework) for all people whose physical presence is not imperative on campus.

As from today, only staff responsible for critical priority activities will have access to campus.

Those responsible for priority activities are as follows: National Research Centers (CNRs), Laboratory for Urgent Response to Biological Threats (CIBU), priority activities at the Institut Pasteur Medical Center, research units working on COVID-19, additoinal priority activities, animal facilities, technological platforms, mediums and equipment platforms, logistics and security and research and communication support staff.

The badges of all other staff are deactivated.

The Human Resources Department has sent out certificates individually by email to those concerned by these critical priority activities. For every outing you must carry with you this certificate along with the Ministry of the Interior's travel certificate "attestation dérogatoire de déplacement" with current date. The certificates have also been sent to all line managers.

Campus access measures for those involved in continued activities are now as follows:

  • Campus will only be accessible at entrance gates 25 and 28 rue du Docteur Roux (entrance gates Vaugirard, Falguière, 3 and 26 rue du Dr Roux are closed)

  •  Entrance gates 25 and 28 rue du Docteur Roux will only be accessible between 8am and 6pm for vehicles

  • Open hours are 24/7 for authorized employees walking to campus

The distribution of packed lunches will be organized in the modules under the canteen for those working on campus starting from Monday March 23.

Finally, we would draw your attention to a number of fake news stories about the Institut Pasteur currently circulating online. We would ask you not to spread them. An official response can be found on our website pasteur.fr.

Guidelines on how to stay safe online when working from home have also been sent out. We would ask you to adhere to them strictly.

We would advise you to consult the Webcampus home page several times a day as it contains regularly updated information, especially HR information and the fact sheet with information about symptoms (Webcampus is accessible off campus without the VPN: https://connect.pasteur.fr).
