CORONAVIRUS

Information security when working from home

As part of the Institut Pasteur’s transition to a downgraded activity level during the current pandemic, a very large number of you are working remotely. Most of you are using a professional work station, but in some cases, a personal work station is being used.

This pandemic period is also being exploited by ill-intentioned individuals, and the Institut Pasteur, like all of the research laboratories currently working on COVID-19, is particularly targeted. These attacks target equally the laboratories that remain open inside the Institut Pasteur and the employees working from home and who have been required to alter their manner of working.

We need each and every one of you to protect us from these attacks. The IT Security Service and the IT Department ask you to carefully follow the recommendations described in the dedicated guidelines as well as to demonstrate responsibility and exercise caution.
