Provident insurance/healthcare platform: finalize your registration from November 16 to December 10
As announced in October, from January 1, 2021, the company Verspieren will become the new manager of the Institut Pasteur's provident insurance/healthcare contract, taking over from the company Vivinter.
To enable the new provident insurance/healthcare platform to be set up, we are asking you to finalize your registration between Monday November 16 and Friday December 10.
What it means
Verspieren has already pre-registered you, but you need to finalize your registration by December 4 so that you can affiliate your eligible family members, set up remote data transmission and enable automatic refunds to be made to your bank account from January 1, 2021.
• On Monday November 16, each of you will receive an email from Verspieren (protectionsociale@verspieren.com) asking you to enter your personal information.
• You will have until December 10 to finalize your registration.
• If you do not finalize your registration by that date, you will be temporarily affiliated alone (without your eligible family members), without remote data transmission (automatic transmission of your refunds between your social security center and Verspieren) and without automatic refunds to your bank account.
How to finalize your registration
- You can register directly online via a secure personal customer space or send a completed paper registration form by post.
- Depending on your situation, you will need the following information or supporting documents:
• Social security number and up-to-date certificate showing your eligibility for the French healthcare system (attestation de droits Vitale) (for you and your eligible family members).
• Depending on your situation: family record book (livret de famille) or marriage certificate/civil partnership certificate/sworn statement of cohabitation and proof that you live at the same address for cohabiting couples.
• For children, depending on your situation: certificate of school attendance if children are at high school (lycée) or university, apprenticeship contract, work-study contract.
• IBAN (international bank account number) for your expenses to be refunded and bank details (RIB) for online connection.
You can start getting these documents ready now. If you are registering online, legible photos of these documents may be accepted.

Please note that, until December 31, 2020, Vivinter will continue to be your point of contact, both for refunds of medical costs and for provident insurance.
