Launch of the Institut Pasteur Alumni website

The Network of Pasteurians and Institut Pasteur Alumni has recently launched a website to facilitate exchanges among members of the community. A wide range of services are available on this platform, which is especially geared towards professional networking enthusiasts.

Since 2015, the Institut Pasteur has been committed to developing its alumni community. This community was initially connected via LinkedIn, then extended to include current Institut Pasteur employees. The Network of Pasteurians and Institut Pasteur Alumni now has more than 1,300 members.

To enable the community to continue to grow and promote relations among its members, the Institut Pasteur has decided to launch a dedicated website.

Go to the Alumni website

Designed to function as a social media site, this new tool aims to develop a real sense of community spirit. It offers a range of services:

  • A directory of members (with geolocalization).

  • A private messaging system.

  • The latest news about the network.

  • A calendar containing key events organized by the Institut Pasteur and also events run by community ambassadors and members.

Throughout the year, other services will be introduced, including:

  • Priority access to job vacancies and internship opportunities.

  • A "partnering" module to share professional expertise.

The LinkedIn group will remain active alongside the new site.

This is your community. Feel free to spread the word among your former colleagues and in your professional circles.

To join the community, you must be:

  • An employee or student at the Institut Pasteur in Paris or at one of the institutes in the Institut Pasteur International Network – in other words, a current "Pasteurian".

  • An alumnus/alumna – a former employee or student at the Institut Pasteur in Paris or at one of the institutes in the Institut Pasteur International Network.

If you want to get more involved in running the community, please write to alumni@pasteur.fr.
