On your bike for the Institut Pasteur to meet this year's target of 25,000km!

On July 3, AG2R LA MONDIALE encouraged the whole of France to get pedaling as part of a special "Vivons Vélo" day in aid of the Institut Pasteur. The eight riders in the AG2R Citroën Team clocked up more than 1,200km between them during their Tour de France stage from Oyonnax to Le Grand-Bornand, which will be added to the fundraising counter.

AG2R LA MONDIALE invited all cycling enthusiasts to get involved in this charity day by going on their own ride with the Vivons Vélo application or by taking part in the Vivons Vélo events organized in nearly 30 towns and cities across France.

These regional "Vivons Vélo" gatherings are a great way for cyclists of all levels to be spurred on by a real sense of team spirit as they clock up the kilometers in aid of the Institut Pasteur. AG2R LA MONDIALE will convert all the kilometers covered throughout the day into donations to support research into neurodegenerative diseases. The aim is to reach a total of €100,000 by the end of 2021. Since 2015, the kilometers cycled by the Vivons Vélo community have generated more than €445,000 in donations to the Institut Pasteur.

These cycle rides are free of charge and are organized by the clubs in the French Cycle Tourism Federation (FFVélo).

Each event complies fully with hygiene and distancing measures. Participants are asked to take to the start line wearing a mask (which they can then take off during the ride).
