Career development guidance for PhD students and PhD holders

In partnership with the Bernard Gregory Association (ABG), the MAASCC welcome and support structure for contract researchers is running a lecture and a series of workshops on career development for PhD students and PhD holders (engineers and post-doctoral fellows).

The lecture (in English) will explore the topic: "Devising your career plan: an alliance between your mind, your heart and your guts". It will take place on Friday June 15, from 12 noon to 1pm.

Several workshops will also be available from June 19:

• An introduction to business and an overview of the professions available to PhD holders (in French) – Tuesday June 19, 1.30 to 5.30pm

• Developing your career by networking (in English) – Tuesday June 26, 1.30 to 5.30pm

• Effective salary negotiation techniques (in French) – Tuesday July 3, 1.30 to 5.30pm

• International mobility (in English) – Monday July 2, 1.30 to 5.30pm
