New training pathway in open science

The HR Development Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new training pathway in open science at the Institut Pasteur.

The pathway reflects a need expressed by scientists on campus for training in open science. It has been designed and developed by the CeRIS in collaboration with the Legal Affairs Department, the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Hub and the Data Management Core Facility.

The Institut Pasteur stated its commitment to open science in the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan. The aim of open science is to make scientific practice more collaborative, participatory and transparent. It seeks to democratize access to knowledge, especially by sharing publications and research data.

If you are interested in learning about the practical skills involved in open science, you can now sign up for a range of training sessions in the following areas:

· Open access to publications
· Open research data
· Code and software
· Participatory science and links with society
· Research assessment

The training pathway will continue to be developed (sessions in English, new topics, new resources) over the coming months.

But feel free to sign up now for the training sessions that are already available and scheduled
