In-house podcast, profile gallery: check out two new spaces on ePasteur that highlight staff engagement
Since 2024, the Internal Communications Division has highlighted the engagement, values and expertise of staff who go above and beyond their roles in their dedication to campus and the wider community. Many of these staff members now feature in profile interviews and podcasts, two formats that support implementation of Pasteur 2030 from a human angle and shine a light on the Institut Pasteur community.
Two dedicated spaces have now been created on ePasteur to host this content so that you can access the gallery of profiles and podcasts in just a few clicks. Director and pentathlete, photographer and reservist for the gendarmerie, UX designer and volunteer with a middle school class, scientist specializing in infection biology and biodiversity advocate – check out some of the many Institut Pasteur staff with fascinating interests outside work. Through written and oral interviews, you can learn more about their projects, commitment and expertise at the Institut Pasteur and among the wider community, which reflects both their uniqueness as individuals and the way they are living out the Pasteurian ethos.
Profiles of Institut Pasteur staff involved in their communities

On this dedicated page, you will find:
Profile interviews of Institut Pasteur employees produced during the Olympic summer of 2024. Meet the Institut Pasteur staff who got involved in the 2024 Paris Olympics and marvel at the sheer diversity among the Institut Pasteur community as you read their profiles.
"Three questions to..." profiles. The idea is to gain an idea of the interviewee's work, the community-based activity or project they are involved in, and more specifically their role and what motivates them, through three questions. Women and science, autism, biodiversity, scientific outreach, the Disability Office – feel free to check out this series of profiles, with new faces constantly being added on different topics.

In-house podcast: "En immers(i)on" – Your chance to get to know Institut Pasteur staff with a passion for their community

To add an original audio dimension to the portrait gallery described above, some interviewees have agreed to feature in an original podcast. Everyone interviewed for a "Three questions to..." article was subsequently followed by the podcast team at an event related to their voluntary work to produce a new episode of the in-house podcast "En immers(i)on." So far, five episodes have been released on a variety of topics (women and science, biodiversity and scientific outreach), including the latest episode on the Institut Pasteur's Disability Office.
"En immers(i)on" is your chance to get to know the Institut Pasteur community better! Each new episode introduces you to committed Institut Pasteur staff from a wide variety of backgrounds, working in different fields at different points in their lives, and gives you a chance to find out more about what inspires them in the projects they are involved in.
Open your ears and prepare to be inspired by their words, stories and actions. Happy listening!
