On November 3rd, 2025, the Scientific Priority Axis 4 – Health and Disease at the Extremes of Life, in collaboration with the Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions Department (SPAIS), will host the conference “Late-Life Diseases” in the Duclaux lecture hall.

This event will explore the latest advances in Pasteurian research on ageing, bringing together scientists working across disciplines to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying late-life diseases.

The program will include:

  • Two scientific sessions :
o    Mechanisms of ageing, organellar dysfunction and immune response
    o    Ageing, genes and environment.

  • Poster presentations

  • Dedicated discussions

  • Keynote lectures by Giovanni D'Angelo (EPFL), Shiladitya Sengupta (Harvard Medical School) et Julien Cherfils-Vicini(IRCAN, Nice).

The day will conclude with a collective reflection on the future of ageing research at the Institut Pasteur, highlighting both current achievements and emerging challenges for this strategic scientific field.

Registration (strictly limited to the campus staff) is free but mandatory, register here.
