Pasteurdon 2025 and 20km de Paris: pounding the pavement in support of research
Running 20km in support of Pasteurdon: they did it!
Sunday October 12 saw the latest edition of the famous "20km de Paris" race. This year, 60 Institut Pasteur staff took part, once again brimming with energy and enthusiasm and keen to embrace this new opportunity to combine their sporting prowess with their individual and collective support for Pasteurdon.
The race has always inspired outstanding performances, and this year's 47th edition was no exception.
Donning their Institut Pasteur T shirts and armed with Pasteurdon posters, balloons and banners from the stand, the team took to the start line opposite the Eiffel Tower, buoyed by the radiant autumn sunshine. The Institut Pasteur's runners all ran their hearts out every step of the way, with every single one crossing the finish line.
After finishing and making their way back to the Institut Pasteur stand, the runners – all smiles following their great performances – made the most of the sunshine to take some photos, enjoyed some much-needed refreshments, and also added their name to a special roll-up banner that very much chimes with the message of Pasteurdon: supporting research, defending science!
Huge congratulations to all the runners for a great sporting achievement in aid of Pasteurdon. See you again next year!
