Social media driving support for Pasteurdon – spotlight on posts about the Institut Pasteur

As we presented in the October 3 issue of the newsletter, for Pasteurdon 2025 we are encouraging you to spread the word and boost the visibility of the campaign via your LinkedIn and Instagram accounts.

The aim is to:

  • Share your expertise, knowledge and research
  • Reach new audiences with messaging on Pasteurdon
  • Promote the Institut Pasteur

Since the start of October and during Pasteurdon week, many of you have shared your commitment and pride in working at the Institut Pasteur and described what it means to you. You have also helped raise awareness of the need for donations and shared your personal hopes.

To date, on LinkedIn alone, there have been no fewer than 86 posts – a great effort to harness this communication channel. Many thanks to you all!

Here are some examples of messages that particularly resonated with the posters' communities:

Take a look at the practical guide below for a host of tips, ideas and examples tailored to people in different roles to help you write your posts.

A dedicated page has been created on ePasteur to guide you in how to promote the Institut Pasteur on your accounts

So why not become a supporter or ambassador and promote Pasteurdon on social media?

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the Web and Social Media Department at socialmedia@pasteur.fr
