Regulatory procedures for the preparation, development, use and preservation for scientific purposes of parts of the human body

  • End of the 2018 inventory and finalization of the supporting documents for the statement concerning collections of human biological samples

In accordance with applicable regulations, the Institut Pasteur is required to regularly review and update its statement with the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation concerning the preparation, development, use and preservation for scientific purposes of parts of the human body.

The Medical Affairs and Public Health Department is coordinating this process and is contacting all the relevant entities to ask them to fill in or update the collection inventory form, available on Webcampus.

We would ask the units that have not yet updated the inventory form on collections of human biological samples to send it as soon as possible to ceboh@pasteur.fr.

  • Import/export of human samples for research purposes

Please note: if you wish to import or export human samples for research purposes (outside French territory), including derivatives (DNA, proteins, etc.) and human cell lines, you must file an application with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for import/export authorization.
