"On your bike!": a scheme to encourage you to cycle to and from work

In the recent mobility survey and following the lockdown, staff at the Institut Pasteur showed a strong level of interest in the possibility of cycling to work. Since there is currently a limited public transport service and passenger numbers are capped, the Quality, Environment and Sustainable Development Department is pleased to announce that the French Environment Ministry has introduced a new scheme to encourage cycling, the "Coup de pouce vélo," loosely translated as "On your bike!".

Under the scheme, individuals are entitled to a grant of up to €50 to get their bike back in working order.

To benefit from the scheme, you simply need to get your bike repaired, or repair it yourself, by one of the listed repairers or in one of the listed self-repair workshops.

The scheme also offers individuals a guide to cycling.
