Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
In view of the announcements by the French government about phase 2 of lockdown exit, and following on from the staff meeting on May 26, the PBRP* committee has approved the following staff presence rates on campus. The aim is to facilitate the progressive resumption of work and encourage social links while maintaining a high level of caution to maximize staff protection.
These maximum permitted rates are applicable on a daily basis. They will remain in force until the next government announcements, currently planned for June 22:
Teams working on priority COVID-19 activities: 75% of staff
Research teams not working on COVID-19: 55% of staff
Support staff on site: 60% of staff
Support and administrative staff working from home and coming to campus occasionally: 20% of staff
• Working from home remains the basic principle, especially because of the partial reopening of schools and transport systems.
• This gives staff the option of coming onto campus one day a week, provided that a rotation system is organized within each team in agreement with the respective managers.
We would remind you that campus remains closed to external visitors until August 31. With regard to interns, the previous rules continue to apply. Concerning meetings: only remote meetings will be permitted; meetings on site may be organized as long as they are held with as few people in physical attendance as possible – other participants can join the meeting online – and under the strict condition that a physical distance of at least 1.5 m between people can be maintained at all times.
It goes without saying that all distancing and hygiene measures remain applicable for everyone on campus: physical distancing of at least 1.5m, compulsory face masks, regular hand washing with soap or use of hand sanitizer, and keeping movements around campus to a minimum. We would inform you that hand sanitizer dispensers have now been installed at the entrances to all buildings on campus (more than 30 dispensers installed within 10 days). Masks continue to be distributed on a daily basis in the modules under the canteen, from 9 to 10.30am and 2 to 3pm.
We would ask you to liaise with your managers to organize your return to campus and make sure you comply carefully with all these measures.
