2026 Nanopore Users Day at the Institut Pasteur

The Biomics Core Facility and the Biodiversity and Epidemiology of Bacterial Pathogens (BEBP) Unit are delighted to announce that the second edition of the Nanopore Users Day will be held on March 10, 2026 in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall.

Following on from the successful first edition of the event, initiated by Chloé Baum and Chiara Crestani, this year's edition will be open to external participants from outside the Institut Pasteur, with the aim of encouraging dialog between scientists, engineers, clinicians and sequencing specialists.

Program:

  • Scientific presentations on bioinformatics, microbiology and Pasteur Network research using Nanopore sequencing;

  • Feedback from sponsors and users;

  • Interactive round table on technological progress, analytical and bioinformatic challenges and future prospects for real-time sequencing.
