"Pasteur, Tomorrow" event: "towards peaceful cohabitation with foxes and crows" on September 9
The Institut Pasteur CSR team and the GreenTeam are pleased to invite you to the second “Pasteur, Tomorrow” event, a new series of discussions on major scientific challenges and CSR, to be held on Tuesday 9 September 2025 at 11am in the Emile Duclaux lecture hall.
For this second edition, the Institut Pasteur is honoured to welcome Frédéric Jiguet, professor at French Natural History Museum. Frédéric Jiguet is an ornithologist and conservation biologist, specialising in bird migration and the impact of global change and human activities. The conference will focus on “Research to help reduce the nuisance of species likely to cause damage (ESOD) - towards a peaceful cohabitation with foxes and crows”.
The conference will be attended by Marie-Lan Taÿ Pamart, whose story is told in the comic strip La Femme Corneille by Geoffrey Le Guilcher and Camille Royer, published in 2023 by Futuropolis. This comic book is available from the media library and is recommended by the Institut Pasteur’s Inclusive book club. A meeting with Frédéric Jiguet and Marie-Lan Taÿ Pamart will be organised after the conference in the cafeteria The 25.
The conference will last one hour.
The Institut Pasteur CSR team and the GreenTeam would be delighted to welcome you to the event.
