The Postdoctoral Affairs Office invites all newcomers and current postdocs to the next Postdoc Orientation on October 15, 2025 starting 2.30pm at The 25.
Discover the agenda:
- Welcome and Introduction by the Postdoctoral Affairs Office - 2.30-3.30 pm: Learn about the Postdoctoral Affairs Office and its mission, how to communicate with the community, the initiatives we are preparing for you, but also basic policies about contracts, leaves, and administrative support, the academic system in France; and a presentation of your postdoc representatives.
- Service Fair - 3.30-4.30 pm: Next, you will have the opportunity to visit stands representing various services, support offices, and groups available to you. A list of these services is attached for your reference.

- Networking Cocktail - 4.30 pm: The event will wrap up with a networking cocktail where all postdocs are welcome to mingle and connect with the newcomers.
With more than 440 postdocs on campus, two-thirds of them international, postdoctoral researchers are a driving force of science at Institut Pasteur. To recognize and support this vibrant community, the Postdoctoral Affairs Office – part of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Department – is dedicated to guiding postdocs through every step of this transitional career stage. Within the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion direction, the Postdoctoral Affairs Office is led by Martina Bonucci and Cécile Apert. It offers arrival assistance, career development workshops, mentoring programs, tailored events and well-being resources to help postdocs thrive.

Last month, the Institut Pasteur held its very first Postdoc Appreciation Week (PAW) – to the best of our knowledges, it as the first official PAW celebration in France.
