Program for Pride Month at the Institut Pasteur: Get your diaries out
The Department for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the DEI events group, the Queer Club and StaPa join forces to celebrate Pride Month with a Pride Month Seminar Series. Social events, seminars… save the dates of this 2026 Pride Month! The month of June will culminate with the Institut Pasteur's official participation in the Pride March on June 27, 2026, alongside 5 other Parisian research institutes.
Week 01 (1-5 June)
June 5th – Kick-off
What: Pasteur Queer Club Pride Party
Hour: 7 pm
Where: L’Amphi Quai de Seine (23 avenue Victoria, métro Châtelet).

The Pasteur Queer Club invites you to an unforgettable evening of music and dancing on Friday, June 5 at 7pm at L’Amphi Quai de Seine (23 avenue Victoria, métro Châtelet).
Join to celebrate diversity in a warm and welcoming atmosphere open to queer people and allies alike.
The Pasteur Queer Club is thrilled to welcome back the drag performer @lili_lust_ who will host this colourful evening!
Come share the joy, pride, and sense of belonging.

Seminar Pasteur Queer Club & DEI Events (1/2)
Title: Fabulous Chemistry (in English)
Speaker: Tom Welton (Professor of Sustainable Chemistry, Imperial College London)
Day: Wednesday June 10, 2026
Hour: 4 pm
Where: online with link Teams (François Jacob auditorium is booked for us to watch the seminar together, there’ll be coffee and pastries)
More information: Tom Welton is professor of sustainable chemistry at Imperial College London and member of UKRI's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion External Advisory Group.
He advocates for greater visibility for members of the LGBT+ community and other minorities in Science. He will share his experience through this seminar.

The occasion to celebrate and prepare together for the Pride March!
June 27th - Pride March
Other Information (what ? Objective ?...): Once again this year, the Institut Pasteur will be taking part in the Paris Pride March on Saturday June 27, 2026. The Institut Pasteur will officially march alongside other Parisian research institutes —
the Imagine Institute, the Institut Curie, the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers, the Saint-Louis Research Institute and the Institut Cochin — to convey a shared message: scientific excellence goes hand in hand with respect for human rights.
To highlight this unity, the Pride Month 2026 T-shirt is the same for all participating institutes!
In addition, lanyards will soon be available on request, subject to availability, at the Institut Pasteur reception: more information to follow.
All staff members are more than welcome to join the march to show their support and pride!
