For the 16th edition of the conference, the Institut Pasteur hosted several young scientists as part of the "Young Researchers" program it is involved in.

This science outreach initiative, led by L'Arbre des Connaissances, introduces middle and high school students—working in pairs—to science under the guidance of various researchers during immersive sessions in several of the Institute’s laboratories. Nine pairs of students from Janson de Sailly Middle School and Camille See High School were welcomed into nine laboratories this year.

As a continuation of this immersion and introductory experience, the “Apprentice Researchers” conference will take place on Wednesday, May 27, at the Institut Pasteur campus. This event is an opportunity for participating middle and high school students to present their work and receive their certificates. It will take place in the auditorium of the François Jacob Center at 5:00 p.m.
