Following a proposal from the President, the Board of Governors Bureau, which met on June 17, approved the appointment of Guillaume Constant as the Institut Pasteur's new Vice-President Financial Affairs. Guillaume Constant will take office on September 28, replacing Françoise Perriolat, who will retire at the end of September.
“Guillaume Constant's extensive experience and expertise will be particularly useful in contributing to the Institut Pasteur's financial management, in conjunction with all the teams in the Financial Affairs Department, and in achieving the goal set by the Board of Governors to make the Institut Pasteur's business model sustainable in the years to come. I am delighted that he will be joining the management team and lending his expertise and managerial qualities to support the teams in the Financial Affairs Department. I would like to thank Françoise Perriolat for her seven years of dedicated service to the Institut Pasteur.” Alban Hautier, directeur général adjoint |

I am aware of the scientific excellence, history and values that make the Institut Pasteur unique, and I will approach this new responsibility with a great deal of enthusiasm but also with humility and openness as I get to know this new environment. I firmly believe in the importance of a collaborative culture, and I will be particularly committed to strengthening the relationship of trust and cooperation between the scientific teams and the Financial Affairs Department, as a means of contributing to the success of the Institut Pasteur's strategic goals and providing lasting support for its scientific ambitions."
