Upcoming "Creating your own company" session on November 7

The Institut Pasteur runs a monthly event offering PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, scientists and engineers interested in entrepreneurship and business development the chance to meet leading figures and entrepreneurs in the area of life sciences.

These informal events, entitled "Creating your own company", take the form of a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.

The November 7 session will look at "Which doors to knock on first" and will feature presentations by:

  • Marie Zwarg, Head of Health at Bpifrance

  • Jean-Marc Grognet, CEO of the Genopole (France's first dedicated biocluster for genomics, genetics and biotechnology research)

  • Aymeric Perchant, Head of the Business Development Team at SATT* Paris Saclay

Each speaker will give a 15-20 minute presentation on what his or her company can contribute to the early stages of business start-up initiatives and when is the best time to contact them and make use of their services. There will then be a 30-45 minute question and answer session.

Please sign up by emailing Dominique Franco or Simon Legendre.

The session will take place at Emile Duclaux building, meeting room, second floor.
